8 chimpanzee and elephant conservation groups (one per village) are set up and equipped to monitor and report illegal activities and liaise with BMWS ecoguards to carry out anti-poaching patrols;
40 farmers are helped to restore degraded land with 50,000 indigenous trees produced through sustainable agroforestry;
14 hunters are trained and given alternative sources of protein and income (pig and poultry farming).
