Principales activités

Improving knowledge of the use of space by carrion vultures outside parks;
Raising awareness of traditional beliefs among 165 hunters and healers, 12 water, forestry and hunting agents and 33 local councillors;
The conviction of poachers or traffickers of carrion vulture organs/parts thanks to collaboration with EAGLE;
Restoration of 11 ha of vulture nesting areas and 1,500 ha of agroforestry systems using the RNA technique;
The creation of 11 local committees to monitor and supervise nesting sites;
Securing 2 feeding areas for carrion vultures at 4 abattoirs on an experimental basis;
Creating and equipping a 4,500m3 aviary to care for injured vultures;
Identifying suitable income-generating activities and training, equipping and monitoring 275 men and women.
